Dr. Montrell Pryor, M.Ed., LMSW

Dr. Montrell Pryor is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker and Advocate for mental health services for people of all ages. Montrell is a graduate of Western Kentucky University where he received a Bachelor and Masters of Social Work. He is also a graduate of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas with a Masters in Special Education. Montrell earned his Doctorate of Social work from University of Kentucky. 

 

Montrell specializes in the holistic care of black men. Treating common disorders such as anxiety, depression, and all trauma related
disorders. He also has a wealth of experience working young boys and men within the LGBTQ+ community. Being trained in EMDR, Montrell uses this modality as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to assist clients with tackling negative thoughts, healing from past traumas, in order to create and foster a better future.
 He is the host of Dear Black Boy: a therapeutic podcast for black men. 

Client population: 13 + (Under 18 should be accompanied by a parent for first
appointment)
